We are looking for 5 female presenting SINGERS, alongside non-binary, trans and genderqueer singers for our production of 'ROMEO AND JULIET', sopranos and altos. The singers will underscore the show with our violin. We are incorporating ballad/folk elements into the play, with a use of drones and humming, folk songs, finally culminating the show with a performance of '10,000 miles'. No need to be able to sight read, just enthusiasm. These rehearsals will be taking place in period from 16th-22nd, so perfect for after exams.

If interested, please send an email to our lovely musical director, Willa, (wjdr2@cam.ac.uk) and me, (ikrp2@cam.ac.uk) with a brief introduction of yourself and your range, your experience, and why you want to take part.

Applications accepted on a rolling basis, but final deadline will be 10th June.

You do not need to have any specific classical training or choral singing or folk experience - just enthusiasm for the show. Peterhouse Chapel is such a lovely space with such good acoustics that we hope this music will tie the show together!

LGBTQ+ applicants are encouraged, but not required.

Contact wjdr2@cam.ac.uk before 10th Jun 2026 23:59 for more details.
