Hi! I’m India and the writer  of ‘Honey’, a 10 minute play for Smorgasbord, Smorgasbord is the Fletcher’s Players New Writing Night at the Corpus Playroom on the 20th October which stages several short plays together. It is a great, low-commitment way to get involved with theatre as there are few rehearsals and only one performance.

It’s a lot of teeth – surrounded by teeth. Like swords, like the swords the walls carry.
Lucy and Morgan, a lesbian couple dealing with Morgan’s diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer’s. The play is split into two monologues that are interwoven together, they chronicle Morgan’s hallucinations and Lucy’s experiences trying to care for her.

I am looking to find a director. No previous experience is required! If you would like to apply, please email me (irc32@cam.ac.uk) with your application. Please put the role you are applying for in the subject e.g. ‘Honey- Director’. Also, email if you would like an extension!

Please see the application pack HERE

The bi-termly, electrically eclectic Smörgåsbord returns, and with it, directors' applications! If you are new to Cambridge theatre and would love an opportunity to test the waters, Smorgasbord is YOUR perfect opportunity to get involved in a low-stress, low-commitment theatre environment.
