The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals is opening for ASMs, Followspots, Mic Runners and Sound Ops!

Got a free afternoon or evening this week? Come be a part of our show crew! No experience needed!

We're looking for people to be Assistant Stage Managers, Followspots, Mic Runners and Sound Ops for the Week 1 ADC (early) late show, The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals! More information about the roles are below:

Assistant Stage Managers (ASMs) help the stage manager in ensuring the show runs smoothly. You will receive instructions from our stage managers before the show. Tasks may include flying counterweights, moving set, helping with quick changes and keeping track of props.

Followspot operators sit in the lighting bridges and operate the followspots to follow actors on stage. You will be given a rundown of who you're meant to be following and when, and be on cans (headphones) responding to cue calls. Please note that to access the lighting bridges, you will have to climb two short fixed ladders and be comfortable working at height.

Mic Runners will keep an eye on the radio microphones during the performance. You will receive instructions from our sound engineers about this when you sign up. Typical tasks include replacing mic batteries or replacing mic elements if things go wrong.

Sound Ops will control the sound cues in the sound box! You will receive instructions from our sound engineers or stage managers before the show, and be on cans (headphones) responding to cue calls.

You can sign up to as little or as many shows as you like! If you'd like to sign up, please fill out the form here:
