I, Kassandra is looking for a DIRECTOR

I, Kassandra is looking for a Director  to bring this play to life for the 2026 Cambridge Poetry Festival. Downing Dramatic Society presents a staged-reading, with music, of extracts from a new verse-drama based on the works of Homer and Aeschylus. If you are interested in working with a script by an acclaimed poet that has never been adapted before please do apply! This is a great opportunity for directors  to work on an exciting ‘first-look’ at a play by a professional writer . We are looking for someone with a strong creative vision to tell the story of the mythological Kassandra through her own eyes, navigating love, war, power and sacrifice.
