‘Our Father, who aren’t in heaven, Richard be thy name.’

Nobody would think Eileen to be capable of murder - oh, but she definitely is. She’s also probably a sex-addict and a pyromaniac. She cannot sleep for visions of hitting her sisters over the head with a frying pan. There are musical numbers encouraging strangulation in her skull. Hardcore praying is now her only hope - so she invests in a Bible, in rosary beads, a full set of holy equipment. She’s quite happy to give up anything - anything at all - to purge herself of these homicidal instincts before it’s too late.

Pyg – Mannequin/ Roberts/ Chorus leader.

19:30, Mon 24th – Sat 29th August 2026 at Greenside @ George Street - Forest Theatre

After the success of 'Glass House' at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2025, in 2026 we're taking a new show, 'Pyg', to the festival.

A place between somewhere and nowhere. Three men. One mannequin. A line of tape that separates memory from forgetting.

Harrison has been coming here for a year. Or maybe it’s his first time. Or his last. It depends which Harrison you ask—the teenager, the man in his thirties, the pensioner. They've all been summoned here for the same reason - if only they could figure out what that is.

The mannequin stands at the centre of it all, and as she unravels Harrison's life before his eyes, it becomes clear that there are darker truths about his world threatening to shatter his fantasies.

Pyg is a gripping drama about loneliness, companionship, and the violence of wanting someone who won't want you back. It's tender until it's unnerving, funny until it's horrifying.

A dark, bold new work that asks: what do we become when we think nobody else is looking? And what happens when we are forced to watch ourselves?
