A place between somewhere and nowhere. Three men. One mannequin. A line of tape that separates memory from forgetting.
When you cross to her side, you remember everything. When you cross back, you don't. She never forgets.
Harrison has been coming here for a year. Or maybe it’s his first time. Or his last. It depends which Harrison you ask—the teenager, the man in his thirties, the pensioner. What they all know: she's not just polystyrene and silence. She's whoever they need her to be. A mother. A lover. A stranger. Until she isn't.
Pyg is a play about loneliness, companionship, and the violence of wanting someone who can't want you back. It's tender until you realize what tenderness is covering up. It's funny until your laugh catches in your throat.
A dark, bold new work that asks: what do we become when nobody else is looking? And what happens when we're forced to watch ourselves?
