Dick Girtington is journeying far and wide from the poor town of Lucy Cavendish to find his fortune and reach his namesake - the sacred halls of Girton - where the corridors are supposedly paved with gold. However, when he arrives, he finds little other than jobless graduates lingering in the halls. Will he find his fortune in the college’s mythical halls, or will Bursar Rat’s evil plans foil the prophecy?
