Through a dazzling mix of time-bending narrative and sharp dialogue, this production explores themes of feminism, class struggle, and the price of success, offering a searing critique of Thatcher-era politics and a still-relevant examination of what it means to be a “successful” woman in capitalist society.

Caryl Churchill's celebrated Top Girls, set in 1982, follows the career-driven Marlene, via a non-linear narrative, as she navigates the sacrifices she has made for her career, battling with the double bind between ambition and tradition that women still face today.
