"I look back at everything we did, and I wonder if I could have done it differently"

'Parisienne' explores themes of guilt, female sexuality, and human agency, examining its own theatricality and characters through an experimental structure based around the retellings of one woman. Through six different scenes, selected from photographs on her dressing table, beginning with teenage guilt after the death of her great aunt, and moving towards an ambiguous emotional entanglement with a man, Ashley, an actress who has become 'the other woman’, remembers real events while another version of herself plays out an alternative version of the past.
